Terms of Service

The Service

Doggie Gateway provides a hosted API gateway that allows users to access third-party AI models through a unified, OpenAI-compatible interface. The service may include account management, API key management, prepaid balance tracking, usage logs, billing records, and documentation.

Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account, login credentials, and API keys. You must promptly revoke compromised API keys and notify us of unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account or API keys.

Billing and Balances

Doggie Gateway uses a prepaid balance model. API usage reduces your balance according to measured upstream costs and the applicable platform markup or pricing rules shown in the service. Top-ups are processed by Stripe. You are responsible for reviewing usage and maintaining sufficient balance for API calls.

Unless required by law or approved by Devotex, top-ups and consumed API usage are non-refundable. If you believe a billing error occurred, contact us at support@devotex.io with relevant account and transaction details.

Acceptable Use

You may not use Doggie Gateway to violate laws, infringe rights, distribute malware, abuse or attack systems, bypass rate limits or access controls, generate spam, perform unauthorized surveillance, facilitate fraud, or submit content that violates applicable upstream provider policies. We may suspend or terminate accounts, revoke API keys, or block requests that we believe violate these Terms or pose risk to the service, users, providers, or third parties.

Third-Party Providers

Doggie Gateway depends on third-party services, including payment processors, hosting providers, authentication providers, database providers, and upstream AI model providers. Your API requests may be routed through upstream infrastructure such as OpenRouter and model providers. We do not control every upstream model, output, pricing change, outage, latency issue, or provider policy.

AI Outputs

AI-generated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, or unsuitable for your use case. You are responsible for evaluating outputs before relying on them, especially for legal, medical, financial, safety, or other high-impact decisions. Doggie Gateway does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, legality, or fitness of any model output.

Availability and Changes

We aim to provide reliable access, but the service may be interrupted, limited, changed, or discontinued. Models, pricing, markup rates, features, routes, and provider availability may change over time. We may update the service to improve security, performance, compliance, or functionality.

Intellectual Property

Devotex and Doggie Gateway retain rights in the service, website, software, branding, and documentation. You retain rights you have in content you submit, subject to the rights needed for Doggie Gateway and its providers to process requests and operate the service.

Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, or security.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Devotex and Doggie Gateway will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption arising from your use of the service.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk, fail to pay required amounts, abuse the service, or if continued service is no longer commercially, legally, or technically feasible.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users. Continued use of Doggie Gateway after updated Terms become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
